    Position Overview

    SodaStream is currently looking for someone with strong mechanical and electrical skills to join our team. This role will work 2pm - 10:30pm schedule and will cover first shift as needed.


    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Mechanical Assistant will be responsible for providing overall support to the Mechanical Supervisor to include hands-on maintenance of the production lines, other mechanical equipment throughout the facility and building requirements. This role will perform repairs and help in the operation, monitoring, and performance of preventative maintenance as necessary. YOU MUST HAVE 

    EXPERIENCE WITH ELECTRO-MECHANICAL FUNDAMENTALS, PLC INTERFACING & PNEUMATIC SYSTEMS.


    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conducts routine production line maintenance and repairs such as; replacement of belts, cleaning and repair of filling heads, troubleshooting performance issues.
    • Follows established preventive maintenance schedules and/or provides support for routine maintenance.
    • Assesses and repairs other equipment such as heat tunnel, box maker, fork lift and pallet jacks. Provides routine maintenance on equipment as instructed. Inspect the machinery equipment and manage the inspection records on a regular basis.
    • Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, sources vendors and/or parts as needed.
    • Records and reports on maintenance repairs and issues as needed.
    • Ensure all safety and work procedures are followed.
    • Maintains building/facility needs such as painting, cleaning, fire/safety equipment, lightbulb changes and other general facility needs.
    • Comfortable in the efficient use of PPE.

    • Maintain and communicate Legal and Regulatory requirements as related to Transportation and prescribed by Federal and State Governing bodies including Hazardous Materials.
    • Assist in the management of the small package network for consumer deliveries and customer and returns program.
